Ar. K. Thomas is a seasoned architect with over four decades of professional experience, known for his versatile design approach and commitment to excellence in architecture and interior design. As the Founder and Principal Architect of K. Thomas & Associates, established in 1991, he has led the firm through the successful completion of more than 1200 projects—ranging from small-scale residential designs to large industrial, commercial, and institutional developments.
His dedication to the profession is reflected in his long-standing memberships with leading architectural bodies, including the Indian Institute of Architects (IIA) and the Indian Institute of Interior Designers. He is also registered with the Council of Architecture.
In addition to his professional practice, Mr. Thomas has a distinguished academic career spanning 32 years, serving as a visiting faculty and Design Chair at Bharati Vidyapeeth College of Architecture (B.V.C.O.A.), mentoring the next generation of architects.
Mr. Thomas’s expertise has been recognized across national and international platforms, having participated in conferences and training sessions in India, South Korea, UAE, Singapore, and Hong Kong. He is also a Governing Board Member of the MOCCB Education Board, an Empanelled Architect with M.I.D.C. (Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation), and actively engages in projects across Middle Eastern countries.

A versatile and accomplished architect with extensive experience in architectural design and project management. As the Co-Founder & Director of Mercury Architects India, and Director of Strategic Planning & Management at Mercury Architecture New Zealand, he plays a pivotal role in leading innovative, cross-continental projects across the commercial, residential, and institutional sectors.
An MIDC Empaneled Architect, he holds academic qualifications in architecture, project management, and business administration, which together support his comprehensive approach to design, leadership, and strategic growth. Santosh also serves as Joint Secretary of the IIA-NMC, contributing actively to the architectural community.
He is also a dedicated mentor and speaker, regularly engaging with aspiring architects and students through educational platforms and industry forums. He's committed to promoting sustainable, thoughtful architecture and nurturing the next generation of design professionals.
